Shuttering charge hand • City of Galax, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in City of Galax, Virginia. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. The role involves de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN). Requirements: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to read formwork and structural drawings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
