Aluminium tig welder — Carver County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Carver County, Minnesota. The role involves control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium 6+ years on the tools preferred.
