Kitchen steward — Marshall County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Marshall County, Illinois. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. What we are looking for: • Punctual, reliable and hard-working • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts On a typical shift you will clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $10,250 per project plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends.
