Solid plasterer — Keokuk County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Keokuk County, Iowa. You will be based at a new-build housing development. The role involves: • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler Ideal candidate: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Performance bonus on top of base pay.
