We are recruiting: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Cass County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Full-time, day shift.
