Horizontal milling machine operator — Hart County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Hart County, Georgia. The job is at an automotive components factory. Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Day-to-day duties: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
