Join our team: MIG welder (Kansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Coffey County, Kansas. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day to day you will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
