Join our team: rebar installer (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar installer in Winnebago County, Illinois. You will work at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Day-to-day duties: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench 3+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
