Now hiring: we are hiring a crane rigger in Calvert County, Maryland. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. The role involves: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Read lift plans and method statements before starting You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
