Join our team: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Brooks County, Georgia. You will work in a warehouse and logistics yard. You should have: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Day-to-day duties: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
