Nursery worker — Lawrence County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a nursery worker in Lawrence County, Indiana. You will work on the grounds of a hotel resort. The role involves check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines. Ideal candidate: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Performance bonus on top of base pay.
