Tig welder wanted in City of Franklin

Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in City of Franklin, Virginia. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day to day you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
