CNC milling operator wanted in City of Radford

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in City of Radford, Virginia. The job is in a CNC machining unit. The role involves: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe You should have: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade 6+ years on the tools preferred.
