Brick and block layer — Russell County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Russell County, Kentucky. The job is at a renovation and extension job. Day-to-day duties: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
