Overlocker operator — Madison County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Madison County, Florida. You will work at a busy garment factory. On a typical shift you will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
