Immediate opening: body shop technician (Kansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a body shop technician in McPherson County, Kansas. You will be based in an insurance-approved repair centre. Day to day you will treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop 6+ years on the tools preferred.
