Now hiring: we are hiring a HVAC installer in Jim Wells County, Texas. You will work on new-build apartment projects. Your main tasks: • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum You should have: • Can read electrical and piping schematics • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Presentable and polite with customers on site Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
