Now hiring: semi-automatic welder (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Val Verde County, Texas. You will be based at an automobile body shop. The role involves: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
