Pipe tig welder — Neath Port Talbot

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Neath Port Talbot, Wales. On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 6+ years on the tools preferred.
