Vacancy available: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Clark County, Kentucky. You will keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers 4+ years on the tools preferred. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
