Reinforcement steel fixer — Webster County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Webster County, Georgia. The job is at a precast concrete yard. On the job you will handle: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
