Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Solano County, California. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing On the job you will handle: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray 4+ years on the tools preferred.
