Dogger — Warren County

Now hiring: we are hiring a dogger in Warren County, Virginia. The job is at a container port. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Day to day you will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
