Tube and fitting scaffolder • Allen County, Ohio

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tube and fitting scaffolder in Allen County, Ohio. The job is on an industrial refinery shutdown. Day-to-day duties: • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform You should have: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
