Great opportunity: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. You will be based at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router Requirements: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Six days a week, one day off.
