Garment presser — Newaygo County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment presser in Newaygo County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
