Now hiring: we are hiring a metal caster in Skagit County, Washington. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day to day you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Full-time, day shift.
