Overlocker operator wanted in City of Belfast

We are recruiting: we are hiring an overlocker operator in City of Belfast, Northern Ireland. What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Day to day you will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £3,100 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
