Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe operator in Choctaw County, Mississippi. The job is on a production line. The role involves: • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing You should have: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Good attention to detail and steady hands Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
