Great opportunity: meat trimmer (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Essex, England. The job is at a halal meat counter. On a typical shift you will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day 1+ years on the tools preferred.
