Pipe tig welder — Ogbomosho North

Join our team: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Ogbomosho North, Oyo State. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; carry out 6G pipe welds where required.
