Motor mechanic — Hoonah-Angoon Census Area

Now hiring: we are hiring a motor mechanic in Hoonah-Angoon Census Area, Alaska. The job is at a tyre and exhaust shop. Your main tasks: • Trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems • Replace clutch plates and gearbox components • Carry out wheel alignment and tyre balancing • Estimate repair costs and order the right parts • Road-test vehicles to confirm the repair • Carry out oil and filter changes What we are looking for: • Own set of hand tools • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
