Immediate opening: we are hiring a TIG welder in County of Ceredigion, Wales. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work On a typical shift you will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. £2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours.
