Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Stoddard County, Missouri. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Your main tasks: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding 4+ years on the tools preferred.
