Fabrication workshop technician wanted in Carter County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Carter County, Kentucky. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash What we are looking for: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $18 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
