Baker — Bertie County

Join our team: we are hiring a baker in Bertie County, North Carolina. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. Requirements: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Day to day you will load and unload the deck oven with a peel; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
