Garment presser — Jefferson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment presser in Jefferson County, Colorado. You will work at a dry cleaner's. Day-to-day duties: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
