Gang bricklayer • Burlington County, New Jersey

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Burlington County, New Jersey. You will work on a busy housing site. You will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks 3+ years on the tools preferred.
