The role involves grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream. Ideal candidate: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Full-time with occasional weekends.
