Vacancy available: we are hiring a sausage maker in Hyde County, North Carolina. You will work in a supermarket meat department. You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Day to day you will dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
