Now hiring: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Gogebic County, Michigan. You will be based in a CNC machine shop. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter 5+ years on the tools preferred.
