Urgent requirement: we are hiring a TIG welder in Winnebago County, Wisconsin. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Day to day you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
