Brickwork mason • Frio County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Frio County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
