AC mechanic — Clay County

Now hiring: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Clay County, Alabama. You will be based at an HVAC contractor's workshop. Day to day you will commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow; mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them; braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks; cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines; wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator; check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
