Immediate opening: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Broadwater County, Montana. The job is at a halal meat counter. On the job you will handle: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
