Join our team: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Clarke County, Virginia. The job is in a toolroom. You will mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
