We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Tudun Wada, Kano State. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Day to day you will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel.
