Roofing technician wanted in Cleveland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofing technician in Cleveland County, North Carolina. You will work at a roofing and cladding contractor. You will replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck. What we are looking for: • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
