Panel welder wanted in Metropolitan Borough of Wirral

Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel welder in Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, England. You will work on a structural steel site. Your main tasks: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. £3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
