Safety officer — Metcalfe County

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. You will be based in a warehouse and logistics yard. Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Your main tasks: • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits.
